Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Well, my stories tend to be a little different than most. If you've read them, they are almost always the underdog pairings, so I will be more biased towards the mainstream pairs. Sometimes. I'm very picky about grammer - the they're/there/their, to/too/two, which/witch as well as your/you're. I also tend to get annoyed when dialogue isn't split up into different sections. So try to get them correct before having me beta them. I'll change it or note it, but I won't be too pleased. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I must say that I excell at grammer. My teachers pounded it into my head, so if you have grammer issues, I'm the betareader for you. Also, I'm pretty good at making sure that a story flows. That's mainly the reason why my stories take so long to get out - I reread them again and again until I think that they make sense. I'm a pretty good judge at determining whether or not someone's in character. Use the OOC excuse. It makes everything better ;P |

Hmm... Mistaken words is sometimes my weakpoint in writing. Example: I was writing an essay for my history class. I used the word 'suck' instead of 'such.' It's mainly little mistakes like that. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
JoBe stories in Moonlight are my preference, but I'll take almost anything from the shows listed on my bio that I like. So that means Moonlight, The Office, CSI, CSI New York, Bones, Chuck, 24, Law and Order SVU, Criminal Minds, and random one - Danny Phantom. Woot for cartoons! |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Well, I would have a difficult time betareading anything other than those shows because I don't know them as well. Pairings that I would not beta - MickBeth or JoshBeth (Moonlight), GSR or Snickers (CSI), any pairing that isn't DL (CSI NY), CamBooth (Bones), Chloe with anyone but Jack or Chase or KimChase (24), and especially Jaron or Ram (The Office). Other than that, I'm open to almost anything. |
