Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
sup dawgs, lesse what dis bitch gots hurr. blah blah blah... i'll read your story without hesitation, especially if you're an author of the romance, horror or sci-fi genre. never gonna give you up, meaning uh i won't give up on your story even if you're horrible or something lol, nor will i ever flame because constructive criticism is where it's at and how you will improve! really, i'm up for reading anyone's fic as long as it's in the designated fandoms i'm in and will do my best to work with you and all that shenanigans. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
i might be typing like a dumbass right now, but don't be fooled- i'm an advanced english student, going into AP, and pretty much maintain an A plus in that core subject. i am actually a very good speller, and plus there's google- i will also check your grammar like the good fellow i am and tell you how things can sound better and whatnot. if i am beta-ing your story i WILL notice mistakes and point them out to you, especially if characters are being ooc. i am pretty familiar with most of the fandoms i've designated myself to be a beta of, and thus can tell you if a character is ooc or some shit, or what you could do to make them more in character. yeaah munchkin |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
i will read any type of story, but genres i'm very interested in are romance, scifi and horror. really anything logical, or with an intense plot that drags you in, and i'm also a very huge fan of realistic stories. fantasy is actually not too much of a favorite, but i'll still read it. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
man i'll read fuckin' anything for you if you want me to. gimme smut (although i'll giggle), slash, gore, etc etc etc and i'll probably read it. just don't have really atrocious grammar or spelling (ie: chatspeak unironically) and we'll be home dogs. |
