Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a fast reader, but I'm very critical about grammar, spelling and punctuation - the basics. Generally I try not to change your story structure or sentence structures. In my comments I may come across a little too picky or harsh, but I don't flame - I critique. And there is a difference. |

Call me a complete spelling and punctuation Nazi-like creature. They're vs their, your vs you're, except vs accept... these sort of errors can be easily avoided. Really! Also, paragraphing. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I may miss out small flaws, especially if the letters are just slightly mixed up. Definitely I can't take long descriptive passages; unless you're Tolkien, I tend to jump over long descriptions. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Will beta only Bleach, Naruto, Saiyuki for anime, BtVS and Angel for TV. Any rating, any length. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Incest-type stories because they're icky. (For Naruto: no Hinata/Neji stories, or the Sand Siblings together. For Bleach: no Isshin/Ichigo/Karin/Yuzu in any combination. Creepy much?) |
