Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Pretty simple really-
Name: Carter
Age: 20
Location: New Hampshire
Goal: To help any avid writter accomplish what they seek by aiding them in their quest to perfect their writtings.
Availability: I am open to any writter in the Spyro the Dragon fan section. I am not taking any other requests until otherwise posted or told by myself.
Style: I am to help a writter perfect displaying how they feel and placing it on the page. Writting should transport the reader into another realm that interacts with their minds and their hearts. You are taking them on a journey that will take them from the highest peak to the lowest pit and beyond. I look for important sentence structure the helps keep the flow of the story. Grammar is pivitol, and basic spelling is also key. I don't only aim to aid the writter but also help my skills as well. Work closely with the author and provide any support needed to keep their spirit's high. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths are rather basic. I am very fluent with the english language and its extensive vocabulary. Keeping the flow between paragraphs and sentences has become one of my strong points, as has grammar and sentence structure. I really enjoy helping authors with their needs..and hope to keep learning upon the way. I have found that my most extensive skill is emotional conflict and the detail that goes into certain events pertaining to the story. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do have several weaknesses. I tend to draw things out and be a little boring at times. Long stories are hard for me to concentrate on; even though I write long ones myself. I have been known on ocassion to miss several simple grammar factors, but I have moved to eliminate this problem. I look to learn from the writter just as they could learn from me. We are all fellow authors here on fanfiction..and we all have the same goal! |

I excell at these catagories due to the fact I am extremely profecient in putting them into words. I am more then happy to work with any of them. |

Don't ask me to do horror or mystery because those are not my strong point. A little bit of mystery is a good thing for any story, but I have my limits. Sherlock Holmes wasn't my favorite book, but ask before I answer because I do make exceptions. |
