Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Although I may not be a seasoned author as of yet, I will admit that I'm fairly good at what I do, and I don't mind looking over text when I have the time. I try to keep an open mind, but generally I will tell you upfront if I can or cannot work with your story, regardless of the reason. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Perhaps the areas I majorly excel at are vocabulary and spelling, and the ability to really sympathise with my characters. I'm more of a character strung author, so if you require assistance with portraying how your characters truly feel at a specific moment, then I will gladly help with whatever advice I can offer. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Grammar and fleshing out plotlines. I may have a structure in my head at a time, but writer's block just loves to kill it at the most opportune of moments. I suppose, that, would be my greatest weakness. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
As I've mentioned, I try to keep an open mind. But if it came down to preference, though, I won't mind reading fan fiction based off the following - The Big Bang Theory (TV), The Book Theif (Book), The Messenger (Book), The Evil Genius (Book), Bleach (Anime/Manga), Fullmetal Alchemist (Anime/Manga), Ouran High School Host Club (Anime/Mnaga), Death Note (Anime/Manga), Code Geass (Anime/Manga), The Luxe Series (Book), Pokemon (Game - also Anime/Special Manga if you want to get down to it >_>"), Digimon (Anime - Seasons 1 and 2 only) and Merlin (TV). |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Twilight. Perhaps Maximum Ride. But definitely do not, by any means, request for me to read your Twilight based fanfiction. That is all. |
