Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I don't terribly mind what style of story you have planned, as long as it is logical and well-planned. Not the rubbish you sometimes see, in other worse. I am somewhat lazy about checking my email but I'll do my best. I will proofread your spelling, grammar, word choice, and plotline. Pretty much everything. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
-spelling (American or British, but I do prefer British)
-thesaurus (including American or British equivalents of words if you need it)
-racism (pureblood-ising or just any sort of racism at all)
-Durmstrang/Russia/Eastern Europe info
-You want someone who has books 3-7 memorised and almost memorised books 1-2?
-I speak basic French, so if you need French in your story....
-insanity. I love writing from the PoV of someone of not-so-stable mental health. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm hideous at romance. Meaning I cannot write it to save my life, I will scorn all stories with it as the major plot, and I will usually run screaming from it. I do cold and clinical. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Regulus having a kid, all Black/Malfoy family stories, stories involving Durmstrang or Russia, Barty Crouch stories, Death Eater stories. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
-gender change
-older-man-with-young-girl (i.e. Snape and Hermione) unless it is well-planned
-slash (same goes for planning)
-Bellatrix/any character. Hate it.
