Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
A good story is a delight to the reader-I want to help people make such stories. I've often encountered this problem when the idea slips me and my story ends up sounding ridiculous. Sometimes, I wish I had someone to help me out with it, but I'm too impatient. Whomever wants to bring upon themselves a curse such as myself, please have in mind what you want from your story, and what things do you want to say. I'm open for dialogue and compromise-the story is yours, I'm just the editor. However, I might be a little slow, so please be patient with me. I flatter myself with a wide range of preferences, and you can see an example of my style in my works. I hope we work well together, and use the PM and mail system as much as possible.

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Since English isn't anywhere near my native language, you can be pretty sure that I've had spelling, punctuation and grammer beat into my head until it stayed there. I've also done plenty of reading in different areas that can help improve a story with interesting facts. I'm open for conversation and willing to hear out what a writer wants out of their story and help them bring it out as much as I could. |

I've also got a mere CAE certificate in English, so I can't say exactly how in I am into everyday expressions. I'm afraid that I might end up imposing my taste on people in my desire to help them out, so please, please keep your eyes on the meaning you want to convey through your story in order to keep me in check. Also, I keep an open mind, but I'd rather you didn't give me yaoi or yuri to beta-I'm still trying out in that field and I'm afraid my advice wouldn't be very competent. |
