Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have been writing fanfiction stories for a little over two years. I know I love it when someone can preread my stories to suggest changes, whether for spelling, grammar, or alternatives for plotlines. I am open to reading stories and making such suggestions. I am not here as a beta to flame or harshly criticize anyone's story, as that is something that no beta should ever do. I will suggest constructive criticism if and when necessary, but it will never be rude. Long story short: I love to read and write fanfiction, and I would love to help anyone out who feels that they need a beta for any of their stories. |

I tend to be good at discerning if a chapter is moving a bit too fast. I know this is something that I struggle with as a writer, so hopefully I can help others avoid it. I am also pretty good at picking out incorrectly spelled words. |

Sometimes I don't quite catch every grammatical error, but I'm working on that :) |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'll read any types of stories: cannon, slash, character/OC, etc. Preferred fandoms include Moonlight, Bones, NCIS, House, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dollhouse and all three CSIs. Both one shots and multi-chaps are fine with me. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I like to start stories from the beginning, so if you have a long multi-chap story and you want someone to beta a later chapter, it might take me a while longer to get back to you with suggestions. |
