Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'll read anything over AT LEAST twice. My expectations are that characters are not TOTALLY out of character unless they're meant to be (a.k.a. in those totally random notepassing stories which I happen to love). However, I can't beta that often-I only check my email about once a week, so regularly beta-ing is pretty much impossible. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am pretty good at grammar, according to people who read stuff that I've written in the past. I can notice if something doesn't make sense really quickly... since I tend to NOT GET IT. I also get REALLY PISSED OFF when someone writes something that completely doesn't make ANY sense at all, so I can notice these mistakes pretty quickly. |

I tend to not notice slang, (yeah's, uh's, those things... u's and no's and those types of IM, AIM, MSN things, I do see) since I find that people (which sometimes includes me) do talk using some slang. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
GO FLUFF!!! Everyone loves a good fluff story. Also, I'm currently totally happy/hyper, therefore am in love with those crazy, random stories. I'll only beta Twilight fanfictions. TEAM EDWARD!!! |

No offense... I REALLY hate those crime scene ones, where all that happens is police investigations and things like that. I also hate those stories where EVERYBODY dies... and those totally predictable things. |
