The Basics - I'm a sophomore in high school, graduating in 2010. I have taken honors level english (and everything else) with nothing but A's for just about my whole life. I will be taking AP English next year.

I'm new at beta-reading, but I'd like to help anyone out with their fics! I have seen many fics on Fanfiction (including my own at times) that are not properly edited (grammatical, spelling, and technical problems of the like). I hope I can help remedy this!

My style - Well, I wouldn't call it a "style", but I'll put down exactly what I do as a beta-reader. I mainly check for basic errors like spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary. Depending on my knowledge of the subject, I may correct errors in technicalities. I also look for flow of the plot line and the way the paragraph/sentence/chapter flows.

I'll help just about anyone who needs it. My only request is that anyone who asks for help to be respectful to me and my opinions. I won't be mean, but I will be critical (that is, of course, what you asked for, isn't it?).

My forte - Spelling, grammar, sentence structure, flow, imagery, singular character development, and vocabulary.

My not-so-forte - Plot outlining, multiple character development, writing longer works of fiction, and poetry.

I would prefer to betaread multi-chapter works of fiction that are a T rating or above (I have found stories over a T rating are a bit deeper, and it allows for a more in depth look at the character, as not all human emotions are very K to K+).

However, this does not limit what I will betaread. I will accept just about anything.

I'm not much of a slash reader/writer. Nor am I a lemon reader/writer. If you ask me to betaread a slash or lemon, I'll probably only fix technicalities and avoid giving my opinion (as it really just isn't my kind of thing).
