Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am green, but I would love to do Beta. I am able to access internet everyday, except when I'm having examinations. I am quite new to fanfiction.net, but I've browsed a lot of stories. So I can give suggestion how to make a good story, although I am not a professional. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am good at grammar and know quite number of vocabularies. I am also careful in punctuation and spelling. I can make a complicated or simple plot of a story. Being critical, I will honestly tell what is in my mind about the story, yet I will be also considerate and will not use harsh words. My stories usually are in genre of adventure, romance, or general. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Sometimes I can make run-on sentences or mistyped. I also tend to prolong a story, which is not really suggested; too many words will make the readers got an ache on their eyes. I am weak at using idioms or phrasal verbs on my sentences, and also, yet rarely, miss an article. I am not good at making parody or humour, don't expect me to help on making humour; I am really lack of ability on that part. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Adventure, romance, any genres basically. I enjoy manga and anime the most, books and games are dependant to which games or books. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Yaoi and Yuri, I just can't stand them. I dislike guy-guy or girl-girl pairings. |
