Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta I am pretty much a very careful reader. I sometimes have issues when I do beta for people and give them tips but they don't do any of those things. I expect people to at least be able to write. I don't truly care if you're good at it, as long as I can read it, I'll be perfectly fine. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Words. I excel at using words. Not like, pale or gentle; but Gingerly, or frugal; withered, vilification, tormented; vile. I replace words most of the time if it sounds better. It's if you said, I hated the bad man.
It could be I hated that indisputable, vile man. Meaning, you hated that person, for they were impossible to question(like if you're a cop) and disgusting. Like a bar owner. I also have a petpeeve of spelling names of the characters correctly. Like, in code lyoko it's Aelita, not alighta; which really makes no sense. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Semi-colons. I'm not sure why, but I'm bad at placing them. I'm also bad at noticing minor errors like or when it should be of. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer to beta more of a dark and brooding type of story, or mystery, I absolutely love romance stories some reason, I'm not sure why, but I love them and wicked happens. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Extremely happy things. I mean, life isn't so happy, so why correct an uber happy story? |
