Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm very friendly. No formalities needed. I don't use the docx system, but rather exchange email addresses and send back and forth files. Usually I send the edited files back with "v2" or "EDITED". I don't make notes of revision in the document, but in the reply email, so you don't have to worry about any embarrassing notes. However, I have a very busy school life, so don't expect a reply back right away during the school week. But I will definitely reply back sometime during the weekend. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Romance. Angst. Crazy. Gore. Silliness. Humor. I love it all, and personally think I excel at it. I love poetry, and usually can come up with good titles or summaries. I am open to almost anything, really, including pairings or fetishes or type of fic. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I usually have to set my stories in a certain font to be able to see differences between minute things, like "you're" and "your". I will get easily frustrated at a fic if I really like it and it has a cliffhanger or UST or angst...I'm not very patient. ^^; |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer romance, though I also love crazy!fics, dark!fics, angst, and psychological!fics. I will do yaoi/maleslash, het, and although it's not necessarily my favorite, yuri/femslash. |

Well, there's not much I'm really uncomfortable with anymore. There are some things that will make me a bit squeamish, but I will get used to them over time, most likely. The only type of thing that bothers me, usually, is crossovers. |
