Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Okay, this is my first time as a beta reader. I'm not exactly what you call a 'very good writer', but I try my best, and will take anything that I know someone put real effort into. I think I would be good for a first time writer since I love reading and will read practiaclly anything that's good. I check for errors and maybe suggest some things. I'm very flexible with the story as long as it has a good plot and good characters. |

I'm good at figuring things that don't make sense, and I comment a lot of improvements in the plot. I always look critically at the plot of a story. I can catch punctuation mistakes from a mile away. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Spelling. You need help with spelling? I'm sorry, but I'm the farthest thing from a dictionary that you could get. My spelling is a NIGHTMARE. Oh, and sometimes keeping characters IC. (In Character) It's because I'm satisfied with slight OOCness.

I've been known to be too blunt in my correcting. If you don't like a beta-reader that is the most blunt beta-reader there is, please, PLEASE, don't make me your beta-reader and then get mad at me. :( |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I will love romance, but I think that's my most picky genre. I will only accept straight relationships, please. (Well, I'm starting to take a little Yaoi, but you know, I really only take certain couples on those points. If you're curious about a couple that I will take, just PM me.) I also love to laugh, so with humor I will read eagerly. I laugh easily to somethings other people wouldn't laugh at, so with humor I'm also pretty flexible. If the plot is unbalievably complicated, I will love it. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I kind of despise mystery, so I don't really prefer things that take too long to get to the exciting part. I am not patient. I refuse to do poems and songfics. Also if the plot is very simple, I might get a little irritated. |
