Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I look over fanfics with a critical eye even if I am not betaing for the author. When I am betaing for the author, I correct the fanfic and type a short explanation of why I corrected it where I did. If you wish to see just what I can write, please go look at my three published fanfics. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am slightly obsessive compulsive so I automatically find mistakes and correct them in my mind. I am in college so I have a fair amount of education. I have quite a large vocabulary and good reference sources in case I don't know if something is spelled correctly. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I cannot always tell if an original character is a Mary-Sue. I have trouble finding time to write so it could take me a few days to make sure that a fanfic is free of error. And if a fanfic is really long, I sometimes lose interest for a day or two. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I rather like romance fanfics between the villian of the series and another character. And honestly, I really like fanfics with at least one lemon in them. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm not good with poetry and I do not like Yuri. |
