Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a Beta Reader, I will do the best I can to ensure your story runs smoothly. I will do whatever I can to make sure that I can perfect your grammar and spelling if necessary, and include a few suggestions for your benefit. If you want me to be your Beta Reader, then send me each chapter individually. Whatever you send me will be perfected in less than a week, because I happen to have a lot of extra time on my hands. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
One of my strengths in literary arts includes my literacy in simple, compound, and complex sentences. This includes my ability to differentiate an independent clause from a dependant clause. Therefore, I also know the correct way to use them forward and backwards. I also happen to excel in vocabulary when it comes to verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weakness is mostly S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G, but that's why we have spell check right? Anyway, another one of my more minor weaknesses is punctuation. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer to Beta stories that already have been self-evaluated, meaning that before you send me anything READ IT OVER! Please don't make me do everything. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I prefer not to start off Beta Reading stories that already have more than five chapters or have +15,000 words, but if I already have started reviewing over a story then add as many chapters as you wish. What I’m trying to say is that I usually perform better as an editor when I’m only reviewing one chapter at a time. I would rather not Beta any Parodies either, as much as I love them; I refuse to Beta ANY Parody. |
