I try not to be, but I guess I'm kind of a tough editer. I'm obsessed with the why of things... why does X suddenly like Z? Why did so and so do such and such? People act with motivation, and if that motivation's not apparent in the story, it becomes less beleivable. The one other thing I nitpick over is voice. No one can get a clear veiw of your character if it doesn't have its own unique voice and way of telling its story. In short, if you pick me as a beta reader, expect loads of hard critique, and hopefully, a much more solid story.

A huge vocabulary; natural dialog and voice; frank with comments, both good and bad.

Spelling. I can's spell to save my life... but if that becomes a main issue in your story, my mom is a human spellcheck perfectly willing to proofread ;)br /

Also, beware my 'i' key. It's popped out and gets stuck frequently, so now my unedited writing lioiikisii muiiciihii liiikiei thiisi. I'll correct as well as I can, but be warned anyway...

Stories with drama and wit to them. I prefer some deep and serious thought, as opposed to something slapped down on paper. Humor is appreciated, though!

No romance, please, unless it's got some good action/humor/etc to balance it out, and no lemon scenes in any way, shape or form. I'll take stories that include heavy romance, yes, but only in 'skipped' or 'faded out' methods. And please remember that I have a weak stomach and can't handle explicit gore or anything else that may upset it.
