Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am an experienced beta who would beta for the following fandoms: Harry Potter (any slash pairing), Junjou Romantica, Gravitation, Bleach (Pairings with Uryuu or Ichigo or Renji only) naruto (NaruSasu and SasuItachi only) Twilight, D.gray man (nothing with Lenalee, and for Allen, only AreKan. LaviYuu preferred) Narnia, Smallville, Tsubasa Chronicles resevoir, Blood+, evangelion, Eragon, and other movies that I watched.
I usually write on livejournal, and you can see my more recent stories there, by a different name, of course. I am also beta on livejournal. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at spotting mistakes that some people miss. I can spot breaks in sentences or paragraphs, i.e sentence and Paragraph structure. Also, in addition to beta'ing the story for S&G mistakes, (spelling and grammar) I can help you improve your story, looking out in case your character becomes mary-sue or Gary-sue, and rendering it to be more appeasing to read. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I sometimes get very absorbed in the story, and forget to beta. If it is a story that I like, it usually takes longer, as I try to get it to perfection as much as possible. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I basically only beta romance, and drama... and I don't mind things like torture, rape, non-con, PWP, all those that you usually find on livejournal, I am fine with. Also, out of romance, I prefer slash/yaoi pairings. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
There is basically nothing I wouldn't do... Except for some het pairings which I strongly dislike. |
