I will try to help with characterization, grammar, and all those wonderful things that a Beta is supposed to do. I may offer a lot of suggestions, but the main thing to remember is that it is your writing, and therefore your call. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have a large vocabulary, so I am very good at coming up with alternate word choices. I am also pretty good at catching grammatical mistakes and helping to make awkward sentences less awkward. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I cannot spell, so the odds of my catching an error there are slim. I also sometimes don't catch there/their/they're type errors, so you are forewarned. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I love romance and angst, but I’m up for pretty much anything. |

If I have never heard of the fiction the fanfiction is based on, I don't think I’d be able to be much help as a Beta. |
