I'd love to be a beta! If you are considering me as a beta, I can tell you I'm fairly useful. I know my homophones and most grammar rules; and I know how to use them. I am no English Major, but I do have a wonderful grammar and spelling program. I enjoy reading reading wide array of subjects, and I love learning. I can help with brainstorming, plot troubles, or just editing. One thing, I will not write your story for you. It's your story! I don't mind brainstorming or comming up with a line or two, but I'm not going to write your story. Characters are an important part of a story, and I can help with keeping your OCs from becoming Sues/Stus and keeping the canon characters in character. I can usually get the document you send back within a couple of days.

Grammar, plot help, and sentence structure. I'm pretty good in almost any genre, though drama, romance, humor, hurt/comfort, adventure, family, friendship, and general are my best areas. I don't write angst, but I've been asked to beta several angst fics so I guess I'm not too bad. I'm generally a creative person, so I usually have ideas that could be used. I'm expressive, and I'm not scared to tell you if something doesn't make sense.

SPELLING! Spelling is not my strongest trait, though if I have spell check I should be fine. I will get most large spelling mistakes, though I might miss a FEW small ones. The same goes for grammar.

Canon couples. Please! (I count Gelphie as canon, just so you know) I'll beta almost anything. Oh, and I'd prefer if you'd go over the chapter yourself first, because I draw the line at betaing something that looks as though a blind caterpillar on crack wrote it.
