Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My beta style is more to give creative suggestions regarding the style of writing, skills and inclusions. It may or may not include comments on dialogue, pacing, flow, and characters. I can offer suggestions for plot and dialogue, storylines and major issues. I will not correct your spelling or grammer. I can beta quickly, and will offer comments within the story itself. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strength lies in critiquing the writer's elements, not their writing style. Everyone writes differently, and it's not my place to say if your style is wrong (unless it detracts from the flow of the story). I'm very good with dialogue, flow, plot twists, and keeping the characters alive. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Crossover stories and AU's are more difficult for me to assist with, without having a bit of background on the story (a synopsis). |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'm strongest at romance, romantic suspense, suspense, and episode tags. GEN pairings (male/female). I will beta M rated material, within reason. |
