Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
If you enlist me as a beta, be forewarned: I will give critisizm, and it's not constructive. I will give critisizm dealing with grammar and punctuation, and some helpful hints and my personal thoughts if asked for them.
If you want to be patted on the head and told how good your story is, go talk to your mom. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Writing: I am a good creative writer with a very vivid imagination. Due to this, I have many ideas buzzing around my head that need to be put to good use. Sometimes they are put to good use, but mostly they just sit there, and are forgotten quickly.
Beta-Reading: I am good at catching spelling and grammatical errors, and plot mess-ups. Also with inaccurate references. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I often get caught up in a story, and as a consequence I tend to leave out some aspects of my critisizing. I might rethink for a while, and send in a completely different review later. |
