Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm currently a college freshman, and an English major. If you need a perfectionist, I'm ready and willing to oblige!
I may take liberties with sentence structure, alternate wording, story flow, and so on, but only when I think it extremely beneficial. If this bothers you, let me know.
I edit quickly and thoroughly, so I should be able to get back to you within a couple of days, depending on the length and quality of the fic, of course. If I need more time, I'll notify you. I'm on my computer all the time, so I'm easily reached through email. |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer beta-ing Twilight stories, but I also like Harry Potter fics. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I don't usually like fics that are flat-out depressing. Angst is fine, but nothing over the top--though, if it's a unique, angsty one-shot, that's fine. I also refuse to read anything smutty. Jasper/Bella pairings are usually totally ridiculous, as are numerous other pairings, but I have a fairly open mind. I won't beta any slash fics. |
