Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm pretty easy-going as a person but I absolutely read stories with a harsh, yet constructive and critical eye. I will be honest with you and tell if your story is good or bad if you ask. I will point out any mistakes in grammar/spelling, your style in writing (Ex: If your characters are OOC or your storyline is not correct with the fandom). Anybody who wishes for me to read their story must be perpared for harsh but helpful criticism. I will try my best to make your story as correct with grammar/spelling as it could get and help you make any choices you are unsure of. Once again, please only give your story if you are perpared for harsh critism. By harsh, I mean I point out every mistake you make. (Worded postively, of course!) |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths are grammar, spelling, description, and paragraph structure. Wording and such. I will not confuse two, too, or to/their, they're, there or anything of the sort. I also can help you with plot line, characters and anything else related. Grammar and spelling are the things I hit hard on. Even one mistake drives me crazy, so you can be sure that your story will be 100 percent grammatically correct. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Descriptions about myself, as you can see. Sometimes my characters tend to get OOC, but when I read a story, I catch on if they're OOC or not. I can still help you with. Battle scenes are hard for me to write for as well, but I can still write them pretty nicely with the dramatics added if wished. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I would prefer reading fanfictions on Anime and Books only. I do not like reading when a character swears obsessively without any stop. I do not mind the mild words in swearing, but if it gets to be too much, I will recommend to keep it at a minimum. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Cross-Overs. I absolutely despise them and there are few that I would read. You can try, of course. I will not read cross-overs with ShowxShow. Books are slightly fine. |
