Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have a good eye for grammar, spelling, rewriting a few random phrases. Generally loose about plot ideas, genres. Usually betas only Star Wars/Jedi Apprentice. Not much experience in other categories, I'm afraid. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Deep, dark fics, I guess? Humour is something I've tried at, but the thing is, I don't think I've ever gotten the hang of it. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Humour. Lengthening the *experience* of the fic. My fics tend to run past, with a fast pace. I need to develop a slower pace for my fiction in order to improve. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Star Wars, Jedi Apprentice, deep, dark? Anything. It's alright as long as I know the category, the characters, and understand what's going on. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
...Pokemon. Twilight. Uhmm.. a few more, but just know that I'd rather beta Star Wars/JA. Most experience is in that area. |
