Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I've edited professionally and am happy to help others improve their writing. I can be blunt, but I try to always be constructive. In other words, I will tell you if something doesn't make sense (and why), rather than just say "THAT STINKS!" I will be happy to work with you to make your thoughts more accessible to the readers, but the work has to come from you. If you don't really care about improving your work, then I won't either. |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
It would probably help if I were familiar with the universe in which your fan fic is based, but I read a LOT and so am familiar with quite a bit. Video games and anime are probably where I'm least familiar, and I'll politely decline if I don't think I'm the right person to help you with your fic. |

Slash just doesn't do it for me, though I admit the line between slash and romance can be challenging at times. I'm willing to take a look if you'd like me as your beta, but please don't be offended if I respectfully decline. I promise I won't waste your time (or mine) if I don't think I can help. |
