I like original character stories, all the stories I've written so far have at least one. Anytime I read a story spelling errors and typos stand out like they've been highlighted with bright red ink. I can't stand chat speak in stories, if an author really cared about the story they'd write it out completely... I know my way around most of the Stargate world but not Universe, too much 'grown-up' junk in it. I actually find it's a little too much like Battlestar Galactica for my tastes.



Anyways, I have an interest in Doctor Who and have written for the fandom. I'm fine with crossovers just as long as they remain interesting. I have a thing against yuri and yaoi, but Jack Harkness is the only exception to my rule though. You just can't get rid of him, he just WON'T die... I'm kidding. He's an interesting guy to have around and if you need to add some suspense in your story but can't spare anyone, you can kill him without jeopardizing the final chapter.

If you feel your story needs a new hook, I'm your beta. I am really good at drawing up new summaries for your stories as long as I have a good understanding of the characters and a general direction of where the story is going. You don't have to give too much away, but the more information- the better.



I can usually spot grammatical, spelling, and typos from a mile away. Generally, the first time I read a story through is the only time I need to search for errors. I won't be intentionally mean about them either, I'll just be pointing them out.



I know the difference between there, they're, and their.



I know the difference between your and you're.



I know the difference between a Mary-Sue and Original Character.

I doesn't do well with Mary-Sues. I try to keep my characters as believable as possible.



I have occasionally slipped up with verb tenses and still do from time to time.

I do not like chat speak, yuri, yaoi, stories without a plot (unless you're looking for my help with said story), romance that has even the toughest characters drooling at the sight of an OC, OOC canon characters, character bashing that doesn't stick to the laws of physics... Yeah, I think that pretty much covers it.
