Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hello guys, my name is Neo H.B.B. Sam, and I'm here to help beta read other people's work for them so that it can turn out to be really damn good. Also, when you have me as your beta reader, you give me creative control over what I'm beta reading, so keep that in mind. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Well I can do some great spelling and grammar checking for someone's story. I can also get a good idea of how a story is pictured in my mind, so I guess that's a strength. I can also work really good with OC's. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Well I'll be honest, I not that good and keeping some characters in-character. Now sure, there are characters that I could keep in-character (example would be Rolf from Ed, Edd n Eddy). Some characters on the other hand (example would be Ed from Ed, Edd n Eddy), well it would be a whole lot more difficult for me to keep them in-character. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Really, I'll beta read mostly series that I'm familiar with (examples would be Ed, Edd n Eddy, South Park and Pokemon). However, this means that I'd would have a hard time beta reading a let's say for example, Gargoyles, because I probably wouldn't be able to keep them in-character because I don't exactly know what their character is supposed to be like. Also, I would like to beta read work that's in English, not Japanese, Spanish, German or any other language out there (l33t speak is fine though, I'll beta read something in l33t speak). |
