Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I've been writing and reading Cowboy Bebop fanfiction for a very long time. I can be very honest and helpful without being mean but you need to be open to constructive criticism.
I guess my only expectation is that you're familiar with some of my writing, just to be sure that I'm the right fit for you. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
According to this form I have to fill out, "honesty is not boasting". Alot of people tell me that one of my strengths is natural dialogue. Another is characterization. I'm comfortable with writing original, Mary-Sue-less characters so if you need some suggestions for developing your own characters, I can probably help you out with that. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can spell and I've got basic grammar down, but I'm no expert. Again -- be sure to read some of my writing. My idea of bad grammar might not necessarily be your idea of bad grammar. I should also mention that I'm Canadian. I figure you might wonder why I spelled "dialog" incorrectly just before making a point of mentioning I can spell. Where I come from, "neighbour" is "neighbor", "favourite" is "favorite" and "dialogue" is "dialog". :) |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I don't really have a preference. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I won't beta crossovers or alternate universe stories just because I probably wouldn't be very helpful with either of those genres. I will not beta any Ed pairings. |
