Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm Neo the Saiyan angel. I'm all for the power of silly and romantic stuff. Actually, it's hard to find something I won't read.
I do have a few restrictions that I'll impose which I'll get to later. But for now, I'll just say that I'm a huge fan of Drakken. If the reason for Drakken's extreme attitude/death in a story isn't explained very well, I'll get annoyed. Heck, if it happens with ANY character, I'll get annoyed, though with Drakken I will feel bad about mistreatment. I'll comment on it with the characters, too.
Anything else, I'm good. They also have the same restrictions as the Kim Possible stories. Vegeta has the same restrictions as Drakken, too. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I can help with grammar, spelling, and word usage, though I am not the best. Also, I have a tendency to question little things in a plot to make sure that it makes sense. I don't like plot holes at all, unless the point of the story is to be funny and not make sense or it's a mystery that will be answered later. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Seeing problems in a plot for me can border on nitpicking. Also, if it involves Drakken, Vegeta, or Zolo being shown in a good light, I'm more likely to just ignore the error and give the writer the benefit of the doubt. So, as much as I like those stories, I'm probably not fit to review them for plot consistency. I also get a bit worked up if the story goes into the mundane, already done category. Be original, people! |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'd prefer humor and romance stories. I'm not against anything else, but I just prefer those. And for the romance, I would like the more emotional things than physical. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
No Kigo or Rongo. Bad experiences with a story which still gives me nightmares. Also no Sharkin. And way underage lemons, limes, and whatever else that stuff is called is not going to work. And NO Vegeta/Goku. I just cannot comprehend how that works. Or Piccolo/anyone because the sense it is making couldn't fill a thimble. |
