Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am simply here to laugh and grow my decisions based on written material. This is simply for fun and I'd love to grow on that. No matter what I do, I cannot overlook errors in spelling, grammar, use of words, or damages to the plot. Even though I will overlook fragments. As you might've seen how I write in them. Don't loose sight of what you're writing about. It looses many a readers when most are desperately interested. As have I have been done wrong before like that. When a writer lost 'the flow' and quit writing. I love most to improve, to cooperate, to adapt to writing: I want to help. Even though I am most likely to become too deep into the story, I want to see it through. Get to the end. I might become too harsh or firm with my words but all it is is my desperate want to help you. Please see that before you complain to me. I will not waste my time with rants about my style: I will not change. Either way, it's your choice. If you're okay with this, we'll get along just fine. If not. Well, that's your problem. |

My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
As a reader, I may be quite...rude or firm in my decisions about things. I'm trying to work on being subtle, don't worry. If a particular part of a story "drags on", so-to-speak, I will skip it entirely.
As a writer, I can be discouraged to write since I haven't completely developed my "wall" to keep the bad things out. I might even become lazy with a fic if I see things going downhill. And when it goes downhill, it goes fast. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Something that messes with your mind. Something outrageous. Spontaneous. Dark and cruel or comedic and hysterical. Either way, I'm fine. Except (yes, always exceptions) I would like something non-a.u., non-repetitive, without OC characters (with the exceptions of OC characters that do not enhance the plot of a fic in any way), or something among those lines. I really don't mind adapting to other anime/manga(s) that are unknown to me. Tell me beforehand and I will glady learn all I can about the subject before beta reading. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
The other end of the M-rated fictions. I am perfectly fine with the gore and the language end but not with the lemon-tipped end. The over-use of foul language is really unnecassary, though. But I can make-slight-adjustments if the foul language suits the character. (I am not obligated to give examples) |
