Hey! Well, I'm fairly new to beta-reading, but I've done editing in the past, and I'm a writer by trade. I really enjoy reading and writing, and I love helping out fellow writers with ideas and editing! As far as my style goes, I don't really know how to describe it. I'll read the story, and help with grammar and spelling first.



If you want pointers or another opinion on the storyline/concept of the story, I can help with that too, if you just let me know. I don't really have any expectations, I guess. Just be patient, I guess. I don't take long to read things, and I can reply to emails/pms fairly quickly.

I'm an excellent speller, and I understand English grammar very well. I also can help with story concepts. I'm a pretty good judge of whether a character is in character or not, as long as I know the series semi-well.



If you have a story that you're writing for a series I don't know about, give me a bit of time and I'll research the series so that I can be of more help. C:

I'd like to say I don't have any weaknesses when it comes to beta-reading, but I want to be honest. XD I'm new to beta-reading, and I don't know if that's a weakness or a strength. I sometimes go overboard with grammar and spelling, but I'm careful to tone that down.



If you don't like a concept or idea for your story just let me know. XD It's your story after all, and I'm just offering help. That's a beta-readers job, as far as I can tell. I procrastinate a bit, but that's usually with my work, so it shouldn't affect any of the stories that I beta-read. If I don't respond to an email/pm right away, just keep bugging me. I should respond right away (seeing that I have no reason not to), but if I don't, don't be afraid to remind me to get to work on beta-reading your story. XD



I only speak and read English well, so I can't really help when it comes to stories in other languages. I'm learning French and Spanish, so I may eventually be able to help with those languages later on. C:

I don't really have a preference. I kind of grew up around books and stories, and I write, so I am admittedly kind of a bookworm. And by kind of, I mean I really really am. I'm a huge fan of humor, horror, mystery, romance, adventure, and pretty much any other genre you can think of. I especially love when a story has several or many genres within it.



I find that stories with different aspects like that are often very rich and enjoyable to read. They're also very fun to write. ;) As far as the rating goes, I can read anything from K through M and I'm fine with it. Swearing doesn't bother me, and mature scenes are fine (because mature things happen throughout life, so why be bothered by it in a story?)

I can't really think of anything I wouldn't read. I've have never read (and am not really interested in) Twilight. I'm not saying I hate it, I'm just saying I'm not interested.



A lot of anime/manga shows/stories have been wearing on my nerves lately, but there are still some stories I'll read. It really depends on the story, I guess. I've seen some amazing stories for shows and books that weren't that great, so I tend to not be picky.
