Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I aim to improve stories so that readers may recieve a higher and better understanding and enjoyment of what enters their minds. I like challenges, but something easy is preferable. I absolutely loathe simple sentences and prefer to stick with compound and complex sentences as opposed to the aformentioned, unless absolutely necessary.(Commas tend to befriend me often)My expectations for the stories I service are very low. As I mentioned before, I aim to improve stories for better enjoyment of them. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I excel in grammar, spelling, word and word-part meanings, and I am fairly decent in sentence structures and puntuation. I am exceptional in detailed descriptions, as well. In all honesty, I do fairly well in writing in general. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Despite having a vast knowledge of words, it tends to take me a while when I am in search of one in particular that I do not use very often, although it does come to me, eventually. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I am a romantic at heart that loves action, drama and horror. Humor is a close friend of me. So, if your story is either a romance, action, drama, horror or humor fic, I'm one hundred percent willing. Anything else, please ask me. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Angst. I do not mix well with angst, personally. I will beta it, even read it, occasionally, but I am not fond of angst. |
