My beta style is more "grammar ninja" than "character nazi," although, if you have a question about a canon character in one of my fandoms, I'll do my best to answer your questions, and if not, go find you the answer. I expect that anyone who asks for my help have at least a relative grasp of English, a Google Docs account (comes with a gmail account--I can tell you how to set one up if you don't have either), and a genuine desire for my help. I want to make you a better writer, really.

Like I said, I'm better at construction than function, so I can only help with plots if you have a direction in mind. Flow is something I know well for plots, and keeping plot devices to a minimum is also something I can help with.

I will do pretty much anything as long as it's not fantasy, even if I'm not familiar with the fandom. I will do anything involving suicide, character death, and general angst. I will do depressing themes, such as abuse, coming to terms with a death, anything like that.

I won't do anything with explicit sexual content. I will not do anything involving graphic depictions of gore or murder. I will not do excessive humor, simply because I have a unique sense of humor that not everyone understands. And that's about it, I guess.
