Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I really like writing fanfiction, and I think that I've improved a lot since I started. I beta my own stories a couple of times before publishing and I can usually improve on it. I haven't beta-d someone else's story before but I'm willing to try. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at spelling and grammar mistakes. Also, I can usually catch canon mistakes, although this is not a guarantee. I'm okay at making sentences flow well, I guess (especially in romantic/fluffy moments). |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Mostly, time – schoolwork is always my first priority. I write when I have time, usually on the way to/from school, on my iTouch. With beta-ing I usually find time at home. Another weakness is detailed descriptions. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I usually like stories with romance, though that doesn't have to be the main genre. I like stories with an interesting plot... foreshadowing is nice too. My favorite fandoms right now are Skulduggery Pleasant and Criminal Minds. I may also do fandoms of books I've read, like Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games. |

I do NOT beta M-rated stories, or slash/smut stories. I usually don't like OCs, but I make exceptions, cause a lot o OCs are usually Mary Sue versions of the authors... |
