Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My strongest point is in characterization. I know if a character is in character or not and what can be done to put them into character if they are not. I am also strong in the areas of spelling (hello three time spelling bee champ) and grammar. Preferably, I want to beta someone that already has an idea of what they're doing and is relatively interested in the fandom that they are writing for. |

My weakness is that if a character is good enough and the plot original enough, I sometimes ignore the faults. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer to beta romance and some light action. I also prefer stories a little bit on the longer side. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I'm generally not into slash, especially with straight characters. However, if a couple is supposed to be gay, then I'd have no problem with it. Also, mpreg is totally not my thing. |
