Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I Beta A LOT of stories now and I catch a bunch of small things that are usually missed. I'd look at a story and see how you write, and try to help your style while correcting any grammer or spelling mistakes at the same time.
All I ask for is a good plot and/or idea and I'll help out for sure. I mean, I read the entire story as I Beta it anyway. :) |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at stories made up by you or using characters by an author. I'd be good at a lot of books because I read a lot. Maximum Ride, Dragonriders of Pern, Harry Potter, Twilight, Pendragon, Books of Ember, Eragon, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and Doctor Who are some that I'd be really good at helping with. I'd also be good for many others. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
A weakness would be that it's my first time being a Betareader. Also that I might not see your style, or know the topic of your story. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Maximum Ride, Dragonriders of Pern, Harry Potter, Twilight, Pendragon, Books of Ember, Doctor Who, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and Eragon are many that I'd be great at because I know them well. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I can't betaread any that I don't know, so you can tell me your topic/book(s) that you're using and I can tell you if I can read it. |
