Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Alright, I am a rather specific Beta-reader. I only BR stories in the ANIME section, and if I have not read/watched the manga/anime you are writing a FanFiction for, then I will not be able to voice my opinion on such matters as in-characterness, or the plot making sense, which I believe I am rather good in.
If such a matter arises that I do decide to BR a Fanfiction of another category or for a piece of work that I do not know of, I will only BR one-shots, because I fel that if I were to BR a long story of an unknown manga/anime for me, then the FanFic would not be able to show its true potential.
I want to know what you want to happen in the story, to where you want the story to go. Without a proper plot explaining, I will feel rather confused and lost when beta-reading your FanFic.

I think I can tell very well when or when not a character is in-character. If you are creating an OC, I believe I can help you to make this OC less Mary Sue if you would like, being an avid OC writer myself. Spelling and sentence structure quite an easy task for me, so I can help with that as well. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I am not good at commitment when I start to feel pressure. If I am managing too many tasks at once, then my BR skills will drop and I might ask you to find another BR. It is for the sake of your FanFic that I do this. I am very straightforward, and will not hesitate to give constructive criticism if necessary. Sometimes my grammar can be perfected. And I have a non-existant talent for Poetry. Poetry and me do not get along at all. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I don't have many preferred options, and I will not refuse to BR your FanFic if I do not like the pairing/the setting/the OC. I like light, slightly humourish-romance or just plain craziness and humour. I find multiple chapter stories and long oneshots quite enjoyable. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I do not take Tragedy/Dying/Angst well. I rarely find anything good about an angsty main character woeing over the loss of their first love. Although, I might agree every once in a while. |
