Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I read the work, and depending on what the author wants, I change stuff. If the author only wants me to find the mistakes and let them fix it themselves, then I will. If an author says I can change it, then I will. I'll always point out areas that should be re-worded or changed to flow better and let the author make the final decision. My one requirement is that you at least check your grammar and spelling ONCE before handing it off to me. If it's painfully obvious that you didn't, I'll send it back and tell you to find someone else. |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Naruto or D.Gray Man. I'll beta fics from any mangas that are listed under my favs/reads, since it would be pointless to beta stuff I wouldn't understand. If you're desperate and want someone, then I'll take the work; just let me do a bit of research on the manga/anime/book/tv show/movie/etc. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
There's quite a bit that isn't my "cup of tea". Basicly, nothing Western or Fairy Princess-ish. I'm not a fan of the "damsel in distress" thing so no princess stories. Also, no cheesy high school fics. I'll read them if you're positive it's not going to be like every other one. I'm open to just about every pairing for them except ones that involve Orochimaru because he's a creeper - and i'll be honest, i'm not a fan of Sakura/Naruto so avoid if possible but i will do it if you realllly want me to. |
