My name is Madison though I usually go by Maddie. I will read any story except one that is rated M or has yaoi in it, unless that is something that's in the actual thing you are writing (like if it's based off a television show and the character is gay or lesbian in the show). I may read the story through first to see if I would like to beta read it if it is a new idea or category for me, but other than that I immediately beta read anything.

My dad wrote my entire sixth grade yearbook and I corrected numerous mistakes he made. I have been told on several occasions that I am an excellent writer. For the longest time my favorite subject was Language Arts and I was in the Honors Language Arts class at my junior high, and am again this year. I catch most mistakes in writing because I cannot stand mistakes at all. I also have very correct grammar and am great at spelling, so unless a character is designed to have bad grammar, I will fix that. I get extremely high grades on writing and grammar tests, too, and I can tell you what part of speech any word is. Also, I am an extremly fast typist, so I will probably finish beta reading extremely quickly.

I often miss things like homophones (words that sound the same but have different meanings), but that's pretty much all I really miss.

I will read almost anything.

I will not beta stories with an M rating. If it is so inapropriate that you have to rate it M, why are you posting it on FanFiction? Most of us don't want to read it.
