Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hey, one and all. I love to help develop the idea and to read over things to make sure their okay. I'm pretty good at catching stuff like spelling or when things simply don't make any sense. I'm still kinda new to the whole beta reading thing but I'm open to help.
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Um...To be honest I have no clue what my strengths are. I'm pretty could at catching confusing sentences and some basic spelling errors, I guess. -shrugs-
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm sometimes a speed reader or I simply forget that I'm a beta. I'll miss things and it is always good for you to maybe read over again just to make sure I'm doing my job right. I also am lazy. I'll forget that I'm beta-ing something and put it off, eventually I'll get around to it though with enough reminders.
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I love something that keeps me going, keeps me on the edge of my seat. Suspence and adventure, I'll almost always read. I also love a good story with a well-devolped OC. Anything that makes me laugh, I'll read without question.
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Western? Really? Romance isn't my strong suit...I'm just not very into those lovey-dovey stuff.
