Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I usually read through the whole thing and then point out any mistakes and then read it again to see if it all fits. I might repeat that process, just so that I don't miss anything. If anyone wants me to give thoughts on improvement, I'll try to find a way to say it in a non-offending way. Expectations? I like people who are polite and appreciative, so a simple thank you would be greatly welcomed. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Mostly it's grammar mistakes. I can usually spot those easily. And sometimes details about characters, like how to make a character seem more alive like giving them interests or weaknesses. |

Details of the plot. I'm not exactly good at filling in the gaps in between and usually it takes me a long time to think of something good. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Mostly Bleach fanfics and fanfics about titles I actually know about. I like to read romance fics containing OCs, or just romance in general. Humor is a thumbs-up as well. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Stories with large amounts of yaoi and/or yuri and lemons. However if the aforementioned are in small amounts I will beta. There are also some pairings that I do not approve of so it goes for those as well, such as pairings between child-like characters and adult characters. |
