Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader

As a beta-reader I look forward to giving constructive criticism, but the writing has to show genuine effort. What matters is the substance regardless of length or genre, and the author's ability to successfully share their ideas with the readers. As family life takes precedence over fandom, my earliest reply will be within the week.

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths

Grammar, characterization, and overall flow. I prefer to keep things short and concise, clipping a story down to a single chapter with a subject focus instead of writing grand narratives - it's more of a personal preference.

My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses

Writing multi-chaptered stories and action sequences. Including grammatical errors into my own work.

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others

Will read any genre and any pairing(or lack thereof), but I do enjoy a story with an epic romance.

Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for

No AU high-school scenarios, songfics, script/chatspeak, and stories that haven't been proofread for grammatical errors at least once.
