Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a very laid back person who will generally read anything that has to do with supernatural/fantasy/romance genres, but I'm very attentive when it comes to grammar and spelling. I can guarantee you that you're work will be, if not perfect, pretty damn close to it when I'm finished correcting it. I expect for your story to have some thought behind it, and it must be a bit developed; I don't want to read a piece of crap, in other words. I understand I'm here to help, but the story must interest me enough for me to want to correct it. I'm pretty open to anything, so send away. If you're not sure about something, PM me and we'll go from there. |

I'm pretty good at spelling and grammar. I can most definitely edit your stories if you feel they are weak in those areas. I'm also a pretty avid romance fan, so I could also help out some in that area. |

I tend not to get too in depth when reading - meaning I don't read into a lot of things (like secret meanings, for example). I'm a surface reader I guess you can say. I may also be a bit harsh, but I'll try my best to give you honest criticism. I may procrastinate, depending on how much I have to do, and I tend to lose interest in stories if I don't find them exciting enough to catch my attention (definitely a weakness, I would say). |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I really enjoy reading romance stories, no matter what category (book, movie, anime) they fall under. I would prefer Twilight stories over anything, though. I'll read whatever you send me, but I can only do so much if I don't know much about the topic. I also like humor -good, side splitting humor- so feel free to send them in. Really, if you have something you want me to read, PM me and I'll check it out. I'm pretty open to anything. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I would prefer to read stories that are actually written pretty well, which means I don't have a ton of work to do. The plot doesn't have to be super amazing, but it must be a bit developed. I also would prefer not to read any slash. Like I said before though, I'm pretty much open to anything. |
