I am someone who reads stories to be entertained, and maybe enlightened as well. One thing I'm critical about is originality. Absolute originality is nigh-impossible, I know. However, if you create a story wherein I make a guess as to what will happen after reading the first paragraph, and my guess comes completely true, you have failed as a creative writer. (Unless if you planned that.) Also, I don't like really slow-paced stories. I also don't like insanely fast-paced stories either, but those are rare. I despise filler of any sort. One thing that separates me from other writers is I don't pad out my stories in any fashion whatsoever. Expect me to get on your case if you do. I don't like extremely dark stories, but I don't like extremely light stories either. Moderation is usually a good thing, in my opinion. Your story doesn't have to be high art for me to enjoy it, but it shouldn't be presented in an immature manner, nonetheless.

I excel at fixing technical issues like spelling, punctuation, grammar, et cetera, but only in English. I have an ear for dialogue, not only for appropriate dialogue for characters, but also natural-sounding dialogue as well. I don't like to do the same thing over and over and over. Ex. my Type-Moon fanfics are not like most other Type-Moon fanfics. I can write humor well if I'm not doing a serious story. There are some universes I have extensive knowledge on that I could help you out on, particularly Touhou and Blaz Blue.

I'm not as good at describing things with words as I would like to be. (Even though people have praised me for descriptiveness anyways . . . weird.) Also, although I can write romance, I'm not exactly well-versed in that field. Lastly, I'm only fluent in English. If you send me a fic in, say, French, I won't be able to help you.

I can enjoy just about any genre, but the ones I would enjoy most are comedies, or adventure stories. It also helps if you write a fanfic for a franchise I like. That isn't a prerequisite though; one of my favorite fanfics is inspired by Code Geass, an anime I. Absolutely. HATE.

Smut. Don't request me to read it. I do not enjoy what is traditionally considered pornography. And also, unless if your name is Dark Pulse, chances are your smut sucks anyway. Also, if your story has a blatant self-insert Mary Sue, I will not review it. I've already been traumatized by Mary Sues in Pokemon and Sonic fanfiction as it is. Unless if it's an effective parody, I don't wanna see it. Lastly, don't send me an intentionally bad fanfic. Much like Miss Rachel Alucard, I was raised on high storytelling standards. If you send me a trollfic, I will eviscerate it, even if it's meant to be "entertaining" in an ironic fashion.
