I'm a semi-serious Vampire Academy fanfic author who drives herself crazy with sentence structure/plot/whatever. I think that if maybe I beta for someone, then I won't be so crazy on my stories. I can definitely help you with your plot... but I sadly have no secret charm for warding off writer's block.

I'm extremely good at spelling (mostly because of spell-check, though) and grammar. I'm good at the little technicalities in the VA universe. I also think I'm good at keeping characters in character, but your mileage may always vary. I *do* think Sydney/Adrian is a cute pairing, after all.

Sometimes, I'm not so nice. If you have horrible spelling or grammar (and I mean "not being able to pass second grade" horrible, not just a few errors), I will call you out for it. I will also call you out if your characters are OOC, or if they do extremely stupid things (ex: strip in front of their school)/turn into Mary Sues. But if that's the way they're meant to be, then talk to me and we can work it out. I want to be helpful!

I'd prefer to beta an action/suspense/romance/hurt/comfort fic - something with a main plot, and romance as a subplot. (I love romance, but only if it's paired with something else.) If it's pure romance, it has to be a fluff-filled one-shot.

I'm not so into the "other" pairings in VA (Eddie/Mia, Christian/Lissa). Sydney and Jill fics are the exception - they can pair up with almost anyone. I'm more focused on Rose or Dimitri or Adrian and whoever they pair up with. I also don't like angsty/suicidal fics because I feel like they've all been done before. Or comedy/humor, but that's probably because I'm not a very funny person.
