While I may not be the best when it comes to beta reading (quite honestly, I've never tried it, but would love to help anyone who needs assistance), I'll do my best to read through the fic as quickly and professionally as possible, making notes and edits that will help you manage your story and get you on track for smooth progression. While it would be nice that you at least make an attempt to proof read your work before asking me to beta read for you, it is not mandatory, so long as I am capable of understanding the story. If you would like, I could give you an instant messaging contact (most likely hotmail), so that we would be able to talk more efficiently about your story and keep you updated on how the beta reading is going. While I will endeavour to go through the story and get back to you in as quick a time as possible, please do take note that I am also writing my own stuff, and should I presently be on a writing high with my own stories, it may take a little longer for me to get through. As I noted earlier, easy-to-read notes and should they be required, edits will be made to assist the writer.

Despite my own weaknesses towards catching every small error in my own work, I do tend to be capable in picking out grammatical errors and such rather easily when I look through another's work- humour me if I pick out something that has an alternative American spelling, as I'm British. If the writer is American, I'll do my best to perform any edits as such. I won't settle with just reading through the story a small number of times, and should I deem it necessary, I will go through what is supplied multiple times until I am satisfied I've done the best I can to help.

I have a limited pool of knowledge on most subjects that extend beyond most popular RPG-based video games categories and in particular, the Pokemon category, for which I myself write stories for. I also don't really like picking at details of the plot of a story, as I feel a story should go how the writer wants it to (within the boundaries of consistency), but I'll do my best if such details are required of me. On top of that, beta reading is relatively new to me, so please do bear with me as I find my footing with it.

I have a lot of interest in stuff like Transformation fics, and thus would certainly enjoy beta reading them. As a major plus, Pokemon fics both as non-transformation stories and vice versa will tend to always get accepted, if someone wishes me to beta read them, and if I am accepting requests. With it being the category that got me into fan fiction writing, it holds a special place in my heart, to be corny.

For particular categories, I'll read almost anything that isn't intended to be sexually graphic. Excessive violence is okay to a degree, but if death is everywhere, I'll probably lose interest. Categories I won't beta read are Naruto (lack of interest), anything Twilight-related (not even as a close-friend exception) and though I won't refuse, categories I'm unfamiliar with likely wouldn't get the character and story-based care-for-detail they would with something I have invested interest in. Pairing fics are also something I'm not fond of, but I'll be willing to give them a try- so long as they don't break any of my DNW's above.
