Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Well, I'm a fairly new Betareader. I'm the kind of person who gives frank opinions. I just don't like holding back. If I love your story, that's what I'll tell you. If I'm not feeling it, I'll tweak things here and there. No biggie, right? And I don't really bite often, so no worries. x) |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I find myself doing tragedy and stuff like that most of the time. I'm rather good at killing people (hahaha), if I do say so myself. I like qriting material that gives a reader really extreme feelings. Emphasis on extreme. I adore stories that make me want to bawl my heart out, laugh my ass off, or squeal in lovey-doveyness until I die. Also... Yaoi. Fluff is my specialty.
I'm pretty okay with reading romance and light stuff too when I feel up to it. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Okay, so basically, I do anime/manga. I repeat. ANIME/MANGA. At the moment, I'll be more than willing especially if it's ouran HS Host Club or Death Note.
I'm also prone to reading Harry Potter or Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Twilight? Er, not so much, except if it involves one (or all) of the characters dying a tragic death. Yes, I hate them like that, forgive me. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer one-shots that have a lot inside them. I rarely do chapter-stories unless they really catch my interest, so if you're planning to make me read them, make sure I'll want to. Also, yaoi. That is all. |
