I love reading fics as a general rule. However, I can only betaread for books/movies/etc that I know about. If I don't know anything about the subject, I'd have to turn down the request. I'm a hopeless romantic, love Harry Potter, The Juliet Club, and Percy Jackson above all else, and I often get angry when people use incorrect grammar, spelling, etc. I'm not afraid of reading T+ rated stories, but I may not be interested depending on the characters or the description of the story.

I'm good at correcting grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, etc. I'm a quick reader, and spend more time than I should editing my papers, and thus have gotten good at it over the years.br /

When it comes to writing, I'm good at choosing settings, following character personalities, and coming up with initial plots.

I'm not the best at suggesting any sort of twists or action type ideas, so if you need someone to help there, I might not be a huge help. I'm not too good at character change over time if I don't know the character well. Certain characters I can portray better than others.

I love to beta for stories that are more than one chapter, as I love to watch the story develop. I love Dramione fics, or R/H shipped fics. I prefer beta-ing for HP stories over all others, but I also enjoy anything by Meg Cabot, Suzanne Harper, or Rick Riordan, and if you were to ask me to beta, I might have read that book and would love to help! I wouldn't be interested in reading any slash stories, or song fics. I suppose I would be willing to beta for certain books/movies, but not for others, as I don't know the story or the characters.
