Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm not the greatest writer or proofreader in the world, but I'm offering my services as a beta reader. :) Mostly I'll highlight grammar mistakes and ways to make your prose flow better. I'm polite to a fault, so don't worry about me totally destroying your self-confidence. Believe me, I know the road of improvement is long and harsh, and the last thing I want to do is completely kill your writing urge. However, everyone needs to learn to accept criticism if they want to improve. I can't guarantee that my help will make you a more popular writer, but I can offer you suggestions and encouragement, the two most important things a growing writer needs. :)

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'd prefer shorter stories over longer ones. One-shots are your friends, and mine too. Also, I've listed what are my "main" fandoms below, but my interests are extremely varied, to say the least. If I've written for a fandom, or even read a story for a fandom, I can probably help you, even if I don't have it listed below. Don't be afraid to ask, I don't bite. :D |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Really sickeningly clichéd high school romance-type fics, or anything overly gory. Other than that, I'll read just about anything. :) |
